Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes
Our Lady comes as Our Lady of Lourdes. She says:
“Praise be to Jesus.”
“Today you commemorate My Apparitions to St. Bernadette at Lourdes.* There are many similarities and differences between My Apparitions there and those here.** Bernadette was, for the most part, uneducated. You, My daughter, for the most part, are uneducated in your faith. Bernadette was asthmatic. So are you, My daughter. Bernadette preferred the background just as you do.”
“The difference in the way the phenomena of the apparitions was accepted by Church officials bears notice. In Lourdes, the apparitions were given fair consideration and a fair investigation resulting in their ultimate approval. There was no behind the scenes effort to sully Bernadette’s reputation on the part of Church authority such as you had here. Healings and other signs and wonders were not summarily discounted at Lourdes, as they are here.”
“I bring these things to light, to the public, to point out the difference in the atmosphere between then and now. The Church has taken on an air of sophistication, holding itself aloof to Heavenly intervention. Much good has been discounted and prayers discouraged due to this attitude. Those who have taken great effort to garner esteem and authority within the Church have farther to fall to find humility.”
“The times of My apparitions to Bernadette were simpler and good was more easily recognized as good. These days, Satan disguises good as evil. No one investigates with an open heart to find the Truth.”
“My apparitions here are just as significant as My apparitions in Lourdes. I told you, this is the Lourdes of this continent. Come with open hearts.”
* Lourdes is a village in France where Our Blessed Mother appeared eighteen times to Bernadette Soubirous in 1858.
