St. Patrick comes dressed as a bishop. It seems his cloak is lined with shamrocks. He smiles and says, “Are you having a nice day in praise of Jesus?”

“Yes.”

“Pray for the land of your ancestors. In truth, the faith is compromised there, just as it is here. One Hail Mary may be all it takes to change someone’s heart. You never know what one extra Hail Mary may accomplish. It will always do good and is better said than left unsaid.”

“Suppose you were to make a great sacrifice but with much tepidity. I would honor a small, hidden sacrifice done with much Holy Love so much more!”

“Prayer has a cumulative effect. I know ahead of time how many prayers will be offered for each petition. Therefore, you never know what just one more Hail Mary will bring. One Hail Mary said with a loving heart has the power to stop wars, bring nature into harmony with God’s plan, convert an unbeliever, save a vocation, deliver a soul from purgatory, and change the future forever. Think, then, of the power of a whole Rosary said with love.”

“Satan knows that the Rosary is the weapon which will bring about his defeat. This is why he is desperate to discourage its use. Every time you recite a Hail Mary from the heart, the devil is weakened forever in some area and in some soul.”

“For I tell you, evil begets evil. Remember, dear children, one Hail Mary said from the heart can stop wars, heal diseases, change hearts and bring victory of righteousness over evil. Therefore, I have come to mobilize an Army of Prayer – not just here, but around the world. I call it: ‘One Rosary A Day For Life’. This is your Heavenly Mother’s call to arms. “I invite you to see that the Eternal Father holds a plan in his Heart for the world and all humanity. It is not ours to see how every piece fits in the puzzle, or the amount of time it takes to come together; but, we know the final outcome will be the conformity of man’s will to the Will of God.”

“Many events must take place first. It is necessary in order for the pieces to fit. Some events will carry with them an awakening as to the power of God, and the uselessness of money, power, and status in the world. All will take place to show mankind the necessity of relying upon God’s grace and strength, and upon each other. And so, people will be brought to the footpath of Holy Love. Those who rely on their own efforts will be lost.”

“Do not live in fear, as Satan would have it. Live in Holy Love, as though My Son, Jesus had already returned. Then you will be given grace to see the path and the way.”

SELF-LOVE

HOLY LOVE
Is motivated towards self-advantage in thought, word, and deed. Is motivated in every thought, word, and action by love of God, and neighbor as self.
Sees only others’ faults, not his own. Considers himself on the right path—perhaps even humble and virtuous. Sees himself full of imperfections. Is always seeking to be perfected through love. Considers everyone more humble and holy than himself.
Holds a checklist in his heart of every wrong perpetrated against him. Imitates Divine Mercy as best he can. Is compassionate and forgiving.
Is quick to anger and stands vigil over his own rights making certain they are not transgressed. Is patient. Takes note of others’ needs and concerns.
Hangs on to his own opinions refusing to surrender to another viewpoint. Offers his own opinions but listens to others and lends them equal merit with his own.
Takes pride in his own achievements. May even take pride in his spiritual progress. Realizes all things proceed from God; that without God he is capable of no good thing. All good comes from grace.
Sees himself and the world as the be-all/end-all. His only pleasure is thus achieved through the world. Takes joy in storing up heavenly treasure, in growing closer to God and deeper in holiness. Knows the difference between earthly pleasures and spiritual joy.
Uses the goods of the world to satisfy self. Uses the goods of the world to satisfy quest for holiness.
Objects to every cross. Sees trials as a curse. Resents others’ good fortune. Surrenders to the cross through love as Jesus did. Sees crosses as a grace to be used to convert others.
Prays only for himself and his own needs. Prays for all in need.
Cannot accept God’s Will. Becomes bitter over trials. Accepts God’s Will with a loving heart even when difficult.

I had wanted to do this blog post at the beginning of November, but with the drama of the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election and urgency of the heavenly messages around that time, this task was neglected by me…

But, no more. The poor souls need our help and so, I am posting some resources for followers of the blog, MaryRefugeOfHolyLove, to learn more about Purgatory and to help the poor souls make it finally home.

Firstly, only in November, if you pray the Flame of Love Hail Mary, 10 poor souls are released to Heaven. Imagine if you did an entire Rosary! Here is the special prayer and a link to find out more information on this blog:

Next, according to tradition, St. Gertrude the Great was told by Our Lord that the following prayer, when piously recited, would release 1,000 souls from their suffering in Purgatory:

“Eternal Father,
I offer You the most precious blood
of thy Divine Son, Jesus,
in union with the Masses said
throughout the world today,
for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory,
for sinners everywhere,
for sinners in the universal Church,
for those in my own home,
and in my family. Amen.”

Next, I have been a member of the lay association, Friends of the Suffering Souls (FOSS), for 14 years. The only obligation of members is to arrange one Holy Mass each year for their perpetual 100 daily Masses for the poor souls. Periodically, they email newsletters about Purgatory and miracle stories of members in the association.
