Movie Review (No Spoilers!) for “Love and Mercy: Faustina” – Second U.S. Theater Showing – Monday, December 2, 2019 — Added Third Showing – Tuesday, December 10, 2019

I wanted to do this short review (no spoilers!) for the movie, “Love and Mercy: Faustina,” which I saw last night (October 28th).

Firstly, I want to say that when I arrived at the movie theater with a friend, the movie was sold out!! Thankfully, the Blessed Mother performed a miracle for us–the theater had set aside a few press tickets, which they were able to release to us at the last moment. So, we got to see the movie. But, I was really surprised that the movie was sold out. So, I want to encourage all people to buy their tickets in advance, so you do not get disappointed.

This movie is a docudrama about St. Faustina’s life and how the Divine Mercy Devotion was spread throughout the world. I was not sure how the documentary pieces would work out interspersed with the dramatic pieces of St. Faustina’s life. However, the movie editing was wonderful and the documentary pieces did not overwhelm with a bunch of information. So, the movie beautifully flowed between the various segments.

I was actually surprised at how well-crafted the movie was. However, when you view the credits, you will see that many, many people worked on and contributed their efforts to making the movie. So, you can tell that all these people worked really hard to present an accurate and entertaining docudrama that was filmed on various locations around the world.

For me, I did not know much about the life of St. Faustina and her spiritual director, so it was a delight to learn more about these two holy people. Although they did not live to see the fruits of their efforts on earth, they believed in their missions from God and through their suffering and sacrifices, we have the beautiful Divine Mercy Devotions today in the Catholic Church.

As I learned about St. Faustina’s spirituality, it actually reminded me of St. Therese of Lisieux’s “Little Way” in offering up in joyful prayer the small moments and sacrifices of daily life to God. So, it was nice to make this connection between two great Saints.

Also, as followers of this blog, MaryRefugeOfHolyLove, know, I am very much into Catholic End Times prophecy. Well, while watching the movie and having the Divine Mercy Devotion explained to me, I realized profoundly how the Great Chastisement of Garabandal can be averted by the vigorous spreading of the Divine Mercy Chaplet both before and after the Warning of Garabandal (Illumination of Conscience) happens. It also dawned on me why Our Lord gave 7th Messenger, Maria Divine Mercy, her particular pseudonym to use. Of course, I knew it was to draw a connection between the Blessed Mother and the need for Divine Mercy in this End Times. However, the movie really helped me to grasp this connection–like making it a concept that I understood intellectually in my head, to finally a concept that I understood in my heart.

Finally, I want to say, that if you are able to see the docudrama on December 2nd, please watch through the end of the credits, as there is a short little documentary afterwards about the 5 Forms of Divine Mercy Devotion that I think is worthwhile to watch.

Overall, I really liked this movie, “Love and Mercy: Faustina”, and so, I want to highly recommend to people to watch the film in theaters on December 2nd. It would also be a good film to buy on DVD to explain the Divine Mercy Devotion to others in a highly informative and entertaining way. I could imagine this movie being used in a positive way to show loved ones after the Warning has happened on how to pray and accept God’s Mercy in one’s own life.

My dear one, today Father gave you and your family a beautiful Mass. Your children were all there. How they love you. When Father blessed you and you went out in My Holy Spirit, your son ran up and caught you and held you in his arms. My child, all your grandchildren have called you and have come to see you. Your children have never left you alone. Do you see how blessed you are and how much love you have for everyone. So many are praying for you and so many are asking Me to heal you. My child, you have the secret of life and that secret is love. Continue, my child, to give yourself to others and do not worry about this illness, for I am your Lord, your God and Father and Savior. I have you in My Hands. Rest, do not worry, and know the One who created you is taking care of you. I love and bless you, for I am your Father, Jesus your Savior, and you are filled with My Holy Spirit.

My dear one, for many years, you took My children to pray with My dear Son, Father Peter Mary Rookey, along with other holy priests. They are all praying for you. Father Rookey wrote the Miracle Prayer (below). This prayer needs to be said by all My children. If you say it faithfully, and believe in it and mean each and every word, you will experience My Son, Jesus, and He will bless you and change your life in a very special way. I love and bless you, for I am your Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Lord Jesus, I come before Thee, just as I am. I am sorry for my sins, I repent of my sins, please forgive me. In Thy Name, I forgive all others for what they have done against me. My little one, I realize you feel very ill today from the procedure you went through yesterday, yet, you spend your day in prayer. My child, offer up everything and trust in Me. I am walking this path with you and I will bless and keep you until you are well again. Rest now, My daughter, and know you are in the Palm of My Hand. I love and bless you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Soon, My child, I will send My Son once more, and this time, as your Jesus of Love and Mercy. Now is the time to Pray, Pray, Pray and believe in all I give to you through My Holy Spirit. Soon, all you have prepared for will happen and then after all evil is cleansed away, My children will never suffer again. This, My child, is what My children have been praying for, My Kingdom to Come and My Will to be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven. I love and bless you, for I am your Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

My little one, today, My Priest Son called you and prayed with you over the phone and he offered up his evening Mass for you. He said he would keep you in his heart and pray for you each and every day and he knew you would be healed. My child, believe in all the prayers and all the wonderful priests I have sent to pray with you. Keep your faith in your Father and know this will pass. You have many gifts, My child, and I blessed you with them for others, because I know how much you love and care for every child of Mine I have sent into your life.

My child, tell My children to pray to St. Joseph, for he was the first lover of Jesus and Mary, and you know God your Father called him to be the foster father of Jesus to love Him, care for Him, and to protect Him. Talk to him, love him, ask him to be your spiritual Father. He cares for God’s children and loves them. He can attain many graces for you. He can bring you closer to Jesus and Mary. After all, he cared for them. He would love to care for you, only ask him. I love and bless you, for I am your Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

My dear children, I am your loving Mother. When you were baptized, you became a temple of the Living God, your Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You became a Child of God. Can you do as I did, to accept graciously all misfortunes and sufferings that Our Lord permits you to face, and can you bear them peacefully and without anger and resentment, and offer all to your God? I am with you and you can turn to Me in good times and bad. Never be afraid to give Me your broken heart and deep sorrows. Remember, I am the Lady of Sorrows. Recognize your Eternal destiny is to be with Me in Heaven, to glorify the Trinity for all Eternity. Your time on Earth is very short compared to Eternal Life forever. Pray, My little ones, come to Confession. Realize you are a Child of God. I will help you, just call on Me and I will bring you to My Son. Your Rosary is your weapon and will bring you grace and peace. I love you and call each one to come and let Me help you come to My Son. I bless you, in the name of your Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

LOVING WITH THE LOVE OF THE MOST HOLY TRINITY, I CONVEY THE DIVINE WILL.

WHO IS LIKE GOD?

With regret so many human creatures utter these Words with great contempt, having accepted the “protection” of the Devil who will then himself drop them into his lake of eternal fire, if they have not repented beforehand.

THIS INSTANT IS ONE FOR PRUDENCE ON THE PART THE PEOPLE OF GOD (cf. Mt 10:16). IT IS AN INSTANT FOR OBEDIENCE TO THE DIVINE LAW, FOR STRICT ADHERENCE TO THE HISTORY OF SALVATION. YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHOM YOU LOVE, AND AS YOU DO NOT KNOW HIM CORRECTLY, CONFUSION IS SPREADING AT THIS INSTANT.

You are saved inasmuch as you are participants in the Divine Work and Action, inasmuch as you fulfill the Divine Law and the observance of the Teachings of Christ, King of the Universe, who through His Disciples left His People with teachings that do not expire (cf. Mt 24:35).

Our King and Lord of Heaven and Earth established His Communion with men and called them to be fishers of men in order that they would convey the GOOD NEWS. They have not been able to undermine the Church of OUR KING AND LORD JESUS ​​CHRIST, they have not succeeded, neither have the sects through the centuries, nor Satan himself through his emissaries. THE CHURCH OF GOD WILL NOT BE TORN DOWN; She will be shaken because of not knowing Her King, but not defeated.

The Divine Spirit gives PEACE and therefore leads the human creature to like continually repeating what his Lord Jesus Christ taught him: WITHDRAWING TO PRAY ALONE WITH HIS FATHER.

Churches must not be desecrated. The favored sons of Our and your Queen and Mother of all creation need to love their Mother, Our Queen; otherwise, you are not giving an example of being good children.

Beloved People of our King and Lord Jesus Christ, man has destroyed creation, has devastated, devoured, extinguished it, and must experience the purification of the abuse he has carried out against the Earth (cf. Rev 11:18c), but the laments of this instant do not restore what man has done to the Earth. People of God, the Devil wants man not to be a creature of inner life, but wants the spirit of man to be masked by worldliness and the bustling noise that keeps him in a stupor with other things, less spiritual.

The Earth has been made sick by man and at this instant the human being needs to prepare to be purified. The more you embrace modernism and what is contrary to what has been established by our KING AND LORD JESUS ​​CHRIST, the greater the purification.
