Blessings dearly beloved ones,

On Friday, February 24, 2023, Holy Love Ministries sent out an official email indicating that the visionary, Maureen Sweeney-Kyle, is sick, and thanked everyone for their prayers. (See information below).

Initially, I chose not to post this information on my blog, MaryRefugeOfSouls, because I received the information late (I did not get the official email from the Shrine, so a blog follower forwarded me the email), and I did not want to cause undue worry over Maureen’s health out of respect for her. Also, usually, in the past, Maureen has bounced back from sickness after a short gap of time. So, I have been patiently waiting for the heavenly messages to resume, as you all have been as well.

However, I realize that I made a poor choice – a mistake. These past few days, the Shrine has been sending out older messages through the official listserv, so this seems to suggest that Maureen is still struggling in her health. I do not know anything further about her situation, whether she is suffering from simply a bad cold or something more serious, but I want to be supportive to her in this time of need.

Many of you remembered me in your prayers, as you all knew that I was facing many health challenges last year. Your generous prayers helped me so much and I will be forever grateful. I experienced many miracles through your intercession and knowing that you cared about me was a great encouragement to me.

I want Maureen to have the same prayer support and constant encouragement from followers of this blog, MaryRefugeOfSouls, that helped me in my time of serious illness and recuperation. I know that she is a most beloved visionary, cared about by thousands of people around the world. I want her to be surrounded by all the love that you have for her and for her to receive many graces to recover from God.

So, please, if you could remember Maureen in your prayers, until we know that she has fully regained her health and the heavenly messages have resumed, I know that she will greatly appreciate it.

Finally, I know that some people might say, well, she is sick, but that it must not be that serious, because Papa God has promised a future public apparition at the Shrine for this Divine Mercy Sunday, etc. But, I want to say that is a poor reason for not feeling the need to pray. Yes, we do not know if Maureen will promptly recover and the heavenly messages will resume tomorrow. And yes, we do not know how serious her current health challenges are.

However, people are talking about a possibility for tomorrow, yet we are currently living with the situation as it stands today. Papa God always makes His daily decisions for the various possibilities of tomorrow based on the human actions and prayers said from today. Papa Is also the Author of Life and Death, and the Giver and Taker of any Grace. So, in order to make it to the grace of tomorrow, we need to respond accordingly to the grace of today. As we all are fragile flowers in the Hands of Papa and there is no guarantee to any of us for another day of earthly life. That is totally in the realm of Papa God, Who Alone mightily orders our daily steps.

Thank you very much for caring about Maureen and your prayers for her health.

Even a ‘Hail Mary’ said with a sick person is a brick on the path. Therefore, treasure each moment in love as an opportunity of grace towards My end in you.”

She blesses me and leaves.

Last night I (Maureen) was awakened with my cough about 3:30 a.m. I thought my cough was bothering my husband. I saw a handsome young boy step from a light. I had been wondering how many more days I would be sick. The boy said:

“You must understand that there are many facets to each cross. The cross affects not only you, but those around you; but grace always accompanies each cross.”

“It is as though the cross could be compared to a squeaky car. The noise affects not only the owner, but all who hear it. Grace would be the grease that is given to repair the squeaks. Eventually, enough grease is given, and the squeaks disappear.”

I asked this beautiful child who He was.

He said: “I am El Divino Nino – Jesus, born Incarnate.” Then He left.

God The Father

Once again, I (Maureen) see a Great Flame that I have come to know as the Heart of God the Father. He says:

“My children, you are now in a penitential season* in preparation for the celebration of Easter. Therefore, let us discuss penance. The best penance is to fast from your own will. This requires the effort in your heart to please Me above all else – to love Me above all else. This is, after all, the first of My Commandments. To accomplish this, you must make the effort not to see how everything affects you yourself. Place the world and all its allurements last in the priorities of your heart. Surrender the ill effects of any illness that may befall you.”

“This is also a recipe for peace of heart. Such a resolve in your heart brings you deeper into trust in My Divine Will. So much time and energy is wasted when souls rely only on themselves and human effort. I remind you, I am more powerful than anyone or anything. It is I who manage the circumstances of your earthly existence. Your best decision, then, is to abandon yourselves to Me. Do not look to the future with dread, but with loving trust. I await your surrender of your will every morning.”
