Mary of Agreda comes and sits next to me. She says:
“Praise be to Jesus.”
“My sister, I have come to share with you certain things about the Blessed Virgin Mary–specifically, Her life of virtue, and how She most perfectly lived certain virtues.”
“First, I invite you to understand that on the surface, She was much like you and I–unassuming, always happy to be in the background, ready to take on the lowliest task. The difference is She did everything to perfection. She perfectly fulfilled God’s Divine Will because She wasn’t a fallen creature.”
“You (and me when I was alive) have trouble sometimes knowing God’s Will. But Mary always made the perfect choices. She was childlike in simplicity, humble in Her bearing, trusting in Her nature. Though She was often overlooked for certain ‘important’ tasks, She was satisfied and accepting of this. The love She had for creatures was always based on Her profound love of God. She saw everything and everyone as God’s creation.”
“I will be coming to you now to describe Our Mother’s life in certain virtues; I will come quietly and lovingly.”

Mary of Agreda comes. She says:
“Praise be to Jesus.”
I throw holy water on her. She smiles and vision brightens.
“I have come to speak to you about Mary’s Glorious Assumption. Our Lady chose to undergo death although Her Son did not ask it of Her. As Her immaculate soul took leave of Her body, a bright light shone around the little house where She had been living. Many angels escorted Her soul into Heaven. Many more angels returned some time later with the sacred mission of escorting Her body to Heaven.”
“As they moved through the heavens with Her pure and virginal body which lay resting in their arms, the firmaments parted. The Gates of Heaven opened. The spirit of St. Joseph called the angels through the Gates, and there in the presence of the Holy Trinity and all the Heavenly Court, Mary’s body and soul were reunited.”
“All of the angels fell prostrate in front of the Holy Trinity, and Mary, our Heavenly Mother, was seated on a throne in their midst. Her song of praise rose above all the rest–and to this day, still does.”

Mary of Agreda comes. She says:
“Praise be to Jesus.”
“I have come to begin my discourse with you concerning the virtuous life of Mary, Queen of Heaven and earth.”
“Because Our Lady was immaculately conceived, She was not of a fallen nature. Every virtue was perfect in Her and each one based on Holy Love which was Her very Heart.”
“Through the deepest virtue of humility ever known to one of God’s creatures, Mary always accepted God’s Divine Will. This is made apparent in Her words to the Archangel Gabriel at the Annunciation: ‘Be it done unto Me according to Thy Word’. Though She sorrowed many times, it was a sorrow that did not proceed from self-love. She sorrowed at the sight of sin in the world and at the sight of Her Son’s suffering. She always preferred to be a loving support in the background.”
“If the women in Her company began to gossip, Our Lady always found good to say about the person in question. She, in perfect humility, never argued to defend Her opinion, and never gave the least thought to others’ opinions of Her. This is because She was humble in thought, word and deed.”
“The world today should be consoled at the thought of such a loving, humble Mother up in Heaven.”

Mary of Agreda comes. She says:
“Praise be to Jesus.”
“Dear little sister, it would be a mistake to compare what I revealed to you last night with what I had written when I was in the world. To do so would be to say one is right, the other wrong. Prophecy is never perfect. And so…accept what I have come to offer. For who is to say, perhaps you are a better recorder of facts than I was. Be humble enough to just pass on to the world what I reveal to you.”

“I am Mary of Agreda.”
“Praise be to Jesus.”
“I have come to describe to you the Coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth.”
“Our Lady was invited upon Her arrival in Heaven–Body and Soul–to be seated upon a magnificent Throne. She accepted only as She knew it pleased Her Beloved Son. Immediately, myriads of angels fell prostrate at Her Feet. The Most Blessed Holy Trinity placed themselves behind Her, though They were elevated a little higher than Mary. Mary was given this honor because the Love in Her Heart was always Holy and Perfect–She being immaculately conceived.”
“She obeyed the Father as an obedient daughter. She cared for Her Son as only a loving Mother could. She was the humble, willing spouse of the Most Holy Spirit. Now and always, a bright Heavenly Light forms a Crown over Mary’s Head. The Crown is the reward given to Mary as Mediatrix, Co-Redemptrix and Advocate.”

“Praise be to Jesus.”
“I have come that you might know the perfect composite of virtue that abides in the Immaculate Heart of Mary.”
“Her Heart is perfect Holy Love. Since Her Love is perfect, every virtue is perfect. Since Our Lady’s Heart is perfect in all virtue, She exemplifies the perfect balance between Holy Love and Holy Humility.”
“The Holy Mother knew well Her humble place before Her Creator. She never presumed to be more than She was before the Eyes of God. In this, Mary’s Heart was the simple reflection of truth.”
“The Holy Mother gave Glory to God in everything–even the Cross itself.”

Mary of Agreda comes. She says:
“Praise be to Jesus.”
“My sister, take this down.”
“I am here to speak to you about the virtue of patience in the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Our Lady, who was perfect in every virtue, never allowed time to become Her enemy. In this way She never thought about the past in a negative context–nor did She worry over the future. This allowed Her to patiently live out the present moment in patience and humility. She did not consider how many times She performed a simple task in the past or how long She would need to wait for something in the future. She did not fault others for their sins–thus showing impatience with them. Instead, She prayed for them.”
“When She saw Her Son suffer She did not have a bitter Heart, but was patient with God’s Will for Her and Jesus in the present moment. She endured patiently every separation from Jesus–even His Ascent into Heaven.”
“Humility and love were the basis of Her patience, and they shone through Her like sun shines through crystal.”
“Imitate Her.”
