Hiroshima, Japan, Aug 9, 2015 / 07:08 am (CNA/EWTN News).- Seventy years ago, the only wartime use of nuclear weapons took place in the Aug. 6 attack on Hiroshima and the Aug. 9 attack on Nagasaki by the United States.
The Hiroshima attack killed around 80,000 people instantly and may have caused about 130,000 deaths, mostly civilians. The attack on the port city of Nagasaki killed about 40,000 instantly and destroyed a third of the city.
Four Jesuits were nearby the hypocenter of the attack on Hiroshima, but they survived the catastrophe, and the radiation that killed thousands in the months following had no effect on them.
The Jesuits priests Hugo Lassalle, Hubert Schiffer, Wilhelm Kleinsorge, and Hubert Cieslik were at the rectory of the church of Our Lady of the Assumption, one of the few buildings that resisted the bomb blast.
Father Cieslik wrote in his diary that they only sustained minor injuries from the broken windows – but nothing resulting from the atomic energy that was unleashed.
The doctors who took care of them afterwards warned them that the radiation they received would produce serious lesions, as well as illness and premature death.
The diagnosis never materialized. No disorders ever developed, and in 1976 Father Schiffer attended the Eucharistic Congress in Philadelphia and told his story. He confirmed that the other Jesuits were still alive and without any ailments. They were examined by dozens of doctors some 200 times over the course of the following years, without any trace of the radiation being found in their bodies.
The four religious never doubted that they had been blessed with protection by God and the Blessed Virgin Mary. “We were living the message of Fatima and we prayed the Rosary every day,” they explained.
Bishop Tarcisio Isao Kikuchi of Niigata said Aug. 6 that Japan can contribute to peace “Not with new weapons, but with the noble activities that have a long history in the growth of the world, and in a particular way in developing countries.”
Bishop Kikuchi added that “this contribution to development, which brings about full respect for human dignity and its fulfillment, would be very appreciated and respected by the international community.”

I want to share this important message from Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in the Book of Truth, because sometimes critics of 7th Messenger and End-Time Prophet, Maria Divine Mercy, say that the heavenly messages promote heresy and schism within the Catholic Church. I am really impressed by the transparency of President-Elect Donald Trump’s transition team. Everyday, I visit his GreatAgain.gov website and there are daily reports as to what he is doing to make our country great again, like the meetings he is having that day, the leaders he is talking to and the meeting agendas–he doesn’t hide anything–and there’s no need for mainstream media “spin” on things–it’s all out in the open.
President Obama and President Bush never did this. So much secrecy. It makes you wonder what the president is doing with all his time! This is really great what Mr. Trump is doing–by-passing the media and going directly to the people–with his video message on YouTube and meeting notes on the website, etc.

I had wanted to do this blog post at the beginning of November, but with the drama of the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election and urgency of the heavenly messages around that time, this task was neglected by me…
But, no more. The poor souls need our help and so, I am posting some resources for followers of the blog, MaryRefugeOfHolyLove, to learn more about Purgatory and to help the poor souls make it finally home.
Firstly, only in November, if you pray the Flame of Love Hail Mary,10 poor souls are released to Heaven. Imagine if you did an entire Rosary! Here is the special prayer and a link to find out more information on this blog:

Next, according to tradition, St. Gertrude the Great was told by Our Lord that the following prayer, when piously recited, would release 1,000 souls from their suffering in Purgatory:
“Eternal Father, I offer You the most precious blood of thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, for those in my own home, and in my family. Amen.”
Next, I have been a member of the lay association, Friends of the Suffering Souls (FOSS), for 14 years. The only obligation of members is to arrange one Holy Mass each year for their perpetual 100 daily Masses for the poor souls. Periodically, they email newsletters about Purgatory and miracle stories of members in the association. I suggest everyone join and you can also join other people (living and deceased) so they can receive spiritual benefit of the perpetual Masses, too.
Next, if you have any deceased souls who need the benefit of Masses, you can enroll them for free into the Purgatory Project, which is an online Registry of the Dead. Sometimes, I will enroll deceased souls I read about in the daily news, so they can be taken care of. Here is the website:
Next, although there are many fine organizations, whenever I need to arrange Masses, especial 30 Gregorian Latin Masses, for deceased souls, I use this Franciscan missionary organization, Seraphic Mass Association. They also do individual Masses and Novena of Masses.

ELECTION 2016 “Signs of Divine Intervention in Trump Victory”

WASHINGTON – Election eve 2016 began without any real sign of a gathering storm. No hint a popular revolt was brewing. In fact, just the opposite.
The networks were reporting the mood in the inner circle of the Republican candidate was subdued, somber, tense, even foreboding – as if fearing the worst.
In direct contrast, the mood in the camp of the Democratic Party presidential candidate was described as confident, expectant and already almost celebratory.
Giddy.
When the first polls closed on the East Coast and the first results began to come in, those moods seemed to be swiftly confirmed by reality. The pre-election polls were not wrong. Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton immediately took the lead.
And she was winning in the battleground states.
She was leading in Florida. She was leading in North Carolina. She was leading in Pennsylvania. She was leading in Ohio. Clinton was threatening to pull away and end the suspense early.
At 7 p.m., there was no sign of a popular uprising led by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. There was no sign at 8 p.m. There was still no sign as time inexorably marched on.
Something would have to break.
And then it did.
Like a scene out of the film “It’s a Wonderful Life,” people had begun to pray.
But not just in one small town. Across America. And around the world.
Simple acts of faith heralded the first faint wisps of a breeze that would soon become a storm that would shake the world.
It began in Jerusalem.
Christians from many nations gathered in the heart of Israel to pray and fast for the fate of the United States. Americans knelt on stage as the faithful prayed. Organizers instructed them to pray like never before for a just God to deliver his most Christian nation. They called it the Jerusalem Global Gathering.
Christians also gathered to pray for the nation outside the U.S. Capitol. As WND reported, pastor Dan Cummins of the small rural East Texas town of Bullard led prayers for a return to biblical principles.
And it was in Texas that the prayers for deliverance were sent around the world, using modern technology.
A large prayer group had gathered in Dallas, hosted by Ken Copeland ministries. It was broadcast by the Daystar channel. Presenters David Barton and former Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., invited viewers to join in prayer.
Daystar has a global reach of 400 million potential viewers.
As they prayed, something began to stir.
“At the precise moment we began broadcasting on Daystar,” Bachmann told WND, “as the polls were still open, and a national audience of believers joined together and prayed in concert, we literally saw the race break in favor of Trump.”
“At that very minute.”
She presented proof.
“The New York Times documented the shift in voting from that minute.”
“The Times put out a timeline tracking the election results as they broke for Trump last night,” Bachmann continued. “We went wild in the Dallas studio last night when David Barton, Ken and Terri Copeland, and various pastors saw that the victory for Trump began exactly at the precise moment believers corporately, over national television, sought the Lord for His favor upon our nation.”
“We knew it was at the exact same time that believers joined in corporate prayer on behalf of voting for a godly platform. Believers brought the Lord into this election, and that made all the difference,” added the devout believer.
“That is the story of last night’s victory. I have no doubt. The strong right arm of a holy God heard the prayers of His people and graciously answered our prayers,” Bachmann reflected.
“It truly explains the Trump victory. I have no doubt. No man can take the credit. Only the strong right arm of a merciful God.”
But that was in harmony with the “believers interceding on behalf of the American election last night in Jerusalem, praying in concert with those of us praying in America.”
And there is no doubt someone was listening.
In addition to the hundreds-of-millions of viewers within Daystar’s reach, the event drew about a million views online.
Bachmann said there had been a genuine repentance and coordinated beseeching of God. She told WND, “We saw the effective fervent prayers of righteous believers availing much.”
“And, prayers so specific,” she explained, “we prayed for elections by county and cities and districts. We literally watched results follow the faithful effectual prayers of righteous people who had humbled themselves and cried out to God for his mercy. This wasn’t credit for us; this was clearly the Lord’s gracious doing.”
Bachmann proclaimed, “It is the story of the night and the biggest story of the year. I have no doubt.”
“We were told more believers came out to vote in this election than ever before,” she reflected, and the numbers confirmed that.
Trump benefited from the largest evangelical turnout in history.
Exit polls showed that an overwhelming 80 percent of white evangelical voters (who made up 25 percent of all 2016 voters) supported Trump.
Evangelicals of color preferred Clinton, but she did not get the same support from Hispanics and African-Americans as did President Obama.
Polls also showed that Trump recaptured the Catholic vote for the GOP by a margin of 52 percent to 45 percent, after most of them voted for Obama in the two previous presidential elections.
Bachmann said all of this “shows the necessity of believers voting for biblical principles in the voting booth.”
Despite the victory, she concluded the work has just begun for the faithful, as well as the president-elect.
“This is not the time for believers to celebrate and turn away from doing our part affecting our society with the salt and light found in the Bible.”
“Now is the time,” she continued, “for pastors to preach biblically from America’s pulpits on the various issues we confront in America.”
“This is a beginning for people of faith. It is an opportunity to share the gospel and educate people on the fundamental primacy of the foundation of western civilization: the Bible.”
So, what did happen around 8 p.m. Eastern time, when the Times indicated the odds favoring Trump began a dramatic turnaround in his favor?
Did prayers sway the vote, or did they coincide with the moment the tabulations began to swing to Trump?
Either way, there could be a case to be made that the Trump victory was not really the work of man, because man chose Clinton.
She won the popular vote. Just as the polls predicted.
But it was where those people voted that made all the difference. Providentially, perhaps, the shift toward Trump happened in the key swing states needed to push him over the top in the all-important Electoral College.
From that perspective, Trump’s victory might indeed be seen, even by the skeptical, as less the work of man, and more of an act of God.
Thessalonians 4:16: “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God.”

U.S. President-Elect Donald Trump has unveiled a presidential transition website to showcase the different policies and objectives that his administration will be pursuing once in office. It is called “GreatAgain.gov” and also includes biographical information about Trump, Pence, and their wives as First and Second Ladies.
I suggest that everyone visit the website to read more about the objectives and policies that will be implemented. There is a lot of good information already available. You may also apply for the 4,000 presidential appointee jobs that will be immediately open due to the transition to a Republican administration.
One of the areas that I am most interested in is repealing Obamacare. So, I am including the information posted on the website about what Trump will be doing in office.
It is clear to any objective observer that the Affordable Care Act (ACA), which has resulted in rapidly rising premiums and deductibles, narrow networks, and health insurance, has not been a success. A Trump Administration will work with Congress to repeal the ACA and replace it with a solution that includes Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), and returns the historic role in regulating health insurance to the States. The Administration’s goal will be to create a patient-centered healthcare system that promotes choice, quality and affordability with health insurance and healthcare, and take any needed action to alleviate the burdens imposed on American families and businesses by the law.
To maximize choice and create a dynamic market for health insurance, the Administration will work with Congress to enable people to purchase insurance across state lines. The Administration also will work with both Congress and the States to re-establish high-risk pools – a proven approach to ensuring access to health insurance coverage for individuals who have significant medical expenses and who have not maintained continuous coverage.
The Administration recognizes that the problems with the U.S. health care system did not begin with – and will not end with the repeal of – the ACA. With the assistance of Congress and working with the States, as appropriate, the Administration will act to:
Protect individual conscience in healthcare
Protect innocent human life from conception to natural death, including the most defenseless and those Americans with disabilities
Advance research and development in healthcare
Reform the Food and Drug Administration, to put greater focus on the need of patients for new and innovative medical products
Modernize Medicare, so that it will be ready for the challenges with the coming retirement of the Baby Boom generation – and beyond
Maximize flexibility for States in administering Medicaid, to enable States to experiment with innovative methods to deliver healthcare to our low-income citizens

Unfortunately, my schedule precludes me from meeting and talking with you at the Catholic Leadership Conference today in Denver.
First, I would like to send my warm greetings to the Denver Archbishop Samuel Aquila. In discussions with my Catholic Advisory Group, it is clear Archbishop Aqulia’s leadership in the Denver Archdiocese has been exemplary, as was the leadership of his predecessor, Archbishop Charles Chaput.
Second, should I be elected President, I look forward to working with these two respected leaders of the Catholic Church in America, their brother bishops, and Congress, on issues of critical importance to the Catholic Church and Catholics.
Catholics in the United States of America are a rich part of our nation’s history. The United States was, and is, strengthened through Catholic men, women, priests and religious Sisters, ministering to people, marching in the Civil Rights movement, educating millions of children in Catholic schools, creating respected health care institutions, and in their founding and helping the ongoing growth of the pro-life cause.
I have a message for Catholics: I will be there for you. I will stand with you. I will fight for you.
As First Lady, US Senator, Secretary of State, and two-time presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton has been hostile to the core issues and policies of greatest concern to Catholics: life, religious liberty, Supreme Court nominations, affordable and quality healthcare, educational choice and home schooling.
For instance, Hillary Clinton supports forcing The Little Sisters of the Poor who have taken care of the elderly poor since 1839, pay for contraceptives in their health care plan (even though they have never wanted them, never used them and never will), and having the government fine them heavily if they continue to refuse to abide by this onerous mandate.
That is a hostility to religious liberty you will never see in a Trump Administration.
Hillary Clinton’s hostility to the issues of greatest importance to Catholics is made worse by her running mate Senator Tim Kaine.
Once pro-life and against partial birth abortion, Kaine now has a 100% voting record from the National Abortion Rights Action League. Kaine once was for traditional marriage, even saying “it is a uniquely valuable institution that must be preserved”, but as of 2013, Kaine no longer supported traditional marriage. And on religious liberty? Shockingly, even Kaine supports forcing the Little Sisters of the Poor to pay for contraceptives in their health care plan, and to have the government fine them heavily if they refuse.
On issues and policies of greatest concern to Catholics, the differences between myself and Hillary Clinton are stark. I will stand with Catholics and fight for you. Hillary Clinton has been openly hostile to these core Catholic issues for a long time, and is only going to be worse with Tim Kaine now following her lead.
On life, I am, and will remain, pro-life. I will defend your religious liberties and the right to fully and freely practice your religion, as individuals, business owners and academic institutions. I will make absolutely certain religious orders like The Little Sisters of Poor are not bullied by the federal government because of their religious beliefs. I will protect and work to expand educational choice, the rights of homeschooling families, and end Common Core. I will repeal and replace Obamacare so you can have better and more affordable health care. I will keep our country and communities safe while respecting the dignity of each human being. I will help Catholic families and workers, and all families and workers, by bringing jobs back to our country where they belong. And I will appoint Justices to the Supreme Court who will strictly interpret the Constitution and not legislate from the bench, like Justice Clarence Thomas and the late and beloved great Catholic thinker and jurist, Justice Antonin Scalia.
We are at a crossroads in our country. Much like 1980. But the stakes are higher now – the highest they have ever been. We have two candidates representing entirely different agendas for our country that will take it in two completely different directions for generations to come. And our direction offers a much brighter future for our beloved country.
Thank you for giving me the time to share my thoughts with you on some of the critical issues facing us today.

Nuclear weapons will be used.
When wars are raging everywhere and all seems hopeless, the antichrist (“man of peace”) will suddenly appear on the world stage in Jerusalem and negotiate a peace treaty in which Israel will give up its sovereignty in an unlikely alliance with Palestine.
Then the antichrist will move at a quicken pace in negotiating peace agreements in many war-torn nations.
Very soon afterwards the antichrist will become involved in philanthropy and he will link up the main world banks to create a new, powerful, financial institution called “Babylon”.
In Holy Scripture, the beast with the ten horns “Babylon” is the European Union; the “Bear” is Russia and the “Red Dragon” is China.
Then the antichrist and the false prophet will create a global partnership — the greatest humanitarian initiative as part of “Babylon.”
All will be told that “Babylon” is to glorify the great one (God), promote the environment/mother earth, and rid the world of poverty.
All four big empires will become connected in this one world union “Babylon”.
Soon afterwards, a religious war will take place to maintain control under “Babylon.”
Christians and Jews will be targeted and persecuted by the antichrist and his followers in a “political state-church” that will rule with a communistic-like control (“Dragon”).
A mark of allegiance (“mark of the beast”) will be introduced suddenly to promote unity among people as part of “Babylon.”
The mark of the beast will control all money, all access to food, and all places where people live.
The mark of the beast will have “666” embedded into a microchip that will be taken like a vaccination in the human body.
The mark of the beast will cause spiritual death of the soul and also a terrible physical disease (plague) designed to reduce the world’s population.
When “Babylon” is fully formed, God will intervene by tilting the world on its axis and throwing fire upon one third of the earth to warn His children of the consequences of embracing the greatest abomination conceived by hell.
Then a great famine will take place, but it will not be caused by God, but by the deliberate contamination of the earth by the antichrist.
Sexual immorality will increase as the Battle of Armageddon intensifies.
Nakedness will become acceptable in public, as well as obscene sins of the flesh in public places.
Abortion up to the day of delivery and murder even among children will be so common in society that many will become immune to any feeling of compassion.
II. Summary of how the antichrist will be enthroned in the one world church
Once the antichrist appears in public in Jerusalem, at the same time, everything in the Catholic Church will change quickly.
There will be an event where the false prophet will be seen at death’s door, but he will recover and many people will be fooled to think he has been “miraculously” healed and favored with great, supernatural powers from Heaven.
“Miracles” will be created by the hand of the false prophet and he will be worshiped, loved, and admired as a “living saint.”
Many people will believe that the miracles of the false prophet are taking place to herald the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
The antichrist will be involved in the decision-making to launch a new one world religion.
The false Catholic Church will publicly call for the unification of all religions.
The false prophet will control all religions in the world and prey on the love of those who know the Truth.
Hundreds of thousands “false prophets” will arise, endorsed by Church leaders, promoting a new missal (New Age/satanic), with the objective to prepare the world with great anticipation for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
Grave errors will be revealed by them in connection with the Book of Revelation.
The main biggest lie they will promote is that Jesus Christ (“Son of Man”) will appear in the flesh and walk among His people and will raise them up on the last day.
The True Christian Church will be thrown out of Rome and endure a number of years of desolation.
Mortal sin will be declared no more and the Sacrament of Confession will stop, because many will believe that all people will be forgiven by God and so all will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
All pagan festivals and satanic ceremonies and rituals will be integrated into the false Catholic Church seen as a “holy communion” between all religions.
It will be hard for the Remnant Church to remain faithful because they will be pressured by the great celebrations, ceremonies and rejoicing preceded by the antichrist to welcome him into the false Catholic Church.
People will applaud the new one world church saying it is a great miracle created by God.
The antichrist will show great honor to the false prophet and many people will applaud the alliance between politics and religion.
When the great deceit is recognized, many priests will become so fearful, they will leave the service of the Church; hundreds of thousands will be excommunicated for failing to obey; and others will be martyred.
At this point, holy priests will need to seek out refuges to lead the True Church in secret where they can provide the daily Mass and Holy Eucharist until the last day.
To gain legitimacy among Catholics, the image of the Mother of God and the prophecies of Fatima will be deliberately used to promote a false sense of security.
The sign that the antichrist is about to be seated on his throne in Rome will be the Tabernacles will be replaced by wooden versions and the Holy Eucharist will no longer be present in the false Catholic Church.
There will be a lavish coronation held to seat the antichrist on the throne of the one world union.
The antichrist will declare he is a devout Christian and will use Holy Scripture in his speeches to impress people with his knowledge.
Every Word in Holy Scripture regarding the Second Coming of Jesus Christ will be adapted and twisted backwards to convince the world they are witnessing the return of Jesus Christ.
The antichrist will be a master of many languages which will be used to bring unity among people quickly.
The antichrist will not speak Latin.
Weary Christians will be relieved to see the antichrist because they will think he is “God-sent” and an answer to their prayers.
The antichrist will lie that he is Jesus Christ by declaring he has come in the flesh “finally” at this time.
It will be impossible for the antichrist to allude to the real Jesus Christ Who came in the flesh by His death on the Cross–the antichrist will declare the fact in reverse.
The antichrist will use the stigmata to convince people that he is Jesus Christ.
The antichrist will work many great “miracles” where he will cure the sick and terminally ill.
A series of false apparitions, in which the image of the sign of the Holy Spirit will be seen, will appear everywhere, which will mock the supernatural sign left by God at true Marian apparition sites like Medjugorje and Garabandal, etc.
The antichrist will have a hypnotic appeal that will cause people to worship him.
The antichrist will say that his elevation to the top of the false Catholic Church is the sign of the Second Coming.
The false trinity is satan, the antichrist, and the false prophet.
In the end, through satanic rituals, the antichrist will be seen to ascend into Heaven.
The real Jesus Christ will be seen descending upon the clouds–the reverse of when He ascended into Heaven–just as He promised.
The antichrist and all his slavish followers will be thrown into the lake of fire.

Today, September 29th, is the feast day for the only three Archangels mentioned in Holy Scripture. They are:
St. Michael (which means, “Who is like God?”) — Leader of the Heavenly Host of angels — he was the angel who fought and cast down satan from Heaven.
St. Gabriel (which means, “God is my strong man”) — he is seen as a great messenger of God in several Biblical stories — he is also the guardian angel of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
St. Raphael (which means, “God is Healer”) — he is the patron saint of healing, of travelers, and of happy encounters — he is only mentioned by name in the Old Testament.
And so, in honor of these great archangels, I am posting three Holy Love messages that involve each of these angels. Also, remember that if you invoke a saint on their feast day, they have special graces given to them by God. So, today, is the day to ask for deliverance and healing prayers to be answered!
Finally, I have a special fondness for St. Raphael. So, I am also including a “miracle story” about him in this post. I hope everyone enjoys the story. God bless!

“Often in the world, my brothers and sisters, you see me portrayed with a sword, defeating Satan and driving him out of Heaven. But I tell you, more powerful than my sword is the heel of our Most Blessed Mother, the Virgin Mary. This heel is comprised of those consecrated to Holy and Divine Love. And it is this heel that will defeat Satan.”

This morning when I was praying to the angel Raphael, he came and stood next to me. He had large wings, dark hair and features and was dressed in green. I asked him if he believed Jesus Christ was born in the flesh. He bowed so low his wings covered his head. He said,
“I believe Jesus Christ was born of the flesh.”
Then he straightened up and looked right at me. He said,
“And so do you.”
He continued,
“You need to go deeper into the Mother’s Heart. Do not give in to discouragement. Remember, God does not ask of you what you cannot give.”
I asked him how I could do this. He said,
“Continually seek the Refuge of Her Heart and, in so doing, do not dwell on anything discouraging.”
Then he disappeared.

“When I say to you that you must be the voice crying out in the desert, it is because this Message, the United Hearts Revelation, reveals and casts out evil and brings to perfection the Light. Perhaps you believe this Message to be only for these times. You are mistaken. It is eternal. Yes, it is both here on earth and in Heaven above. Are you surprised at this?”

WHEN A MARYLAND PRIEST CLAIMED AN ANGEL VISITED HIS CHURCH IN FULL VIEW OF CONGREGANTS
A devout priest in Maryland reported that on the feast day of Guadalupe an angel appeared during Mass in front of him and about 200 congregants.
The priest, Father Richard Scott, 41, of St. John the Evangelist Church in Clinton, Maryland, in the archdiocese of Washington, tells Spirit Daily that on December 12 he had started the day asking Our Lady of Guadalupe for confirmation pertaining to a special request he had made.
Originally from Peru, Father Scott, who says he has a special devotion to the angels (“in the Catholic sense, nothing at all New Age”) and recites the litany of angels every day, and conducts healing Masses at a church dedicated to the Archangel Raphael, recounts that at about 6:45 a.m. he was praying to the Virgin.
“Blessed Mother, I know you are Our Lady of Guadalupe,” he had said. “You know that I love you very much. You are also Queen of Angels. I know I am not worthy, but because of the merits of your Son Jesus and His Divine Mercy, I humbly beseech you to send me St. Raphael to give me a sign that what I have heard in my heart is from your Son.”
That night Father Scott celebrated a Mass in honor of the Guadalupe Virgin at 7:30 p.m. He says that he had gone through the day without much further thought as to his request. “I forgot about it,” he says, “but God didn’t.
“I was saying the prayer of the faithful and I had closed my eyes and I opened them and looked up to see the people that I was praying for and I was indirectly praying for my special intentions and also praying for a man with cancer — and for our bishops that they always be filled with the Holy Spirit and faithful to the Holy Father — and just as I was saying that all together, I looked up and in the back of the church, I saw this Hispanic woman who works in the parish preparing the little kids at the time of the offertory, bringing the gifts — they were going to present roses and carnations to the Blessed Mother — and right next to her I see this young man in his twenties with light brown hair with a big picture, a big painting in a frame, with a radiant face and around his body like an aura. He looked different — but completely human, nicely dressed, with corduroy pants, a shirt, a sweater, and like a suede jacket.
“He was radiant — the most penetrating loving eyes. They exuded love, and he had a huge smile, as if he was my best of friends, surprising me. He walked like he was on a mission to fulfill what God wanted him to do. He walked up the aisle reverently but quickly.
“He was in control. Nothing would stop him. He just came down, but he didn’t do it in a way that was pompous. He didn’t float. He walked like a normal person, but quickly with this big painting on his right side and it was like there was a light, a spotlight on him, like an aura around his body, even though his body was normal, and throughout the whole thing his eyes were in contact with me. He gave reverence to the Eucharist and to me as a priest.
“He genuflected near the tabernacle and presented this painting. He laid it against a lectern on the left-hand side. He was not far away from me. He went up two steps and laid it against the lectern and he said to me, ‘You have to bless it.’ I did say as he was approaching, is there anything I can do to help you. I was shocked. Even as he said, ‘You must bless this,’ his facial expressions never changed.
“There was complete love and tenderness but he was there on a mission. I couldn’t walk up to him. I couldn’t move. Something kept me from moving. I couldn’t speak. All I could do was observe and receive. Afterwards he turned around, once again genuflected to the Blessed Sacrament, and then he went again somewhat fast down the aisle, turned around, once again looked at me, raised up his arms to heaven, and said with a smile, as if he was exuberantly happy, ‘Amen, alleluia!'”
It is an angel story as there have been many angel stories but with this twist: Father Scott actually saw the mysterious stranger disappear. Most who have angel encounters describe a stranger who then was nowhere to be seen, but the Maryland priest actually saw him vanish.
“After saying, ‘Amen, alleluia,’ he put his arms down and I don’t know how the wooden doors opened, but as he was going down the steps, before he got outside — there is another set of glass doors — I saw him disappear. He went down five or six steps and disappeared. I saw him disappear. He disappeared just before he got to the glass doors. I did not see the glass doors open, and from the altar I can tell when people leave Mass early.”
Of course, we leave this all for your discernment. So far we have no reason to doubt it and if true we find it tremendous — a Christmas gift.
It confirmed something major for the priest, who says that painting was a replica of the famous Michelangelo masterpiece, “The Creation,” in which God is touching the finger of Adam. He said there was a man in a car who had been out front through Mass waiting to drive a relative, and the man later testified that he saw no one enter or leave. Those attending Mass were equally shocked at the mysterious visitors actions and way of walking.
Father Scott believes the mysterious stranger was the Archangel Raphael. He says the painting was expensively framed in wood with cardboard protectors on the corners. The priest left the painting in the church for four days, waiting to see if anyone would claim it, which no one did.
COMMENT (by a soul): While I am a bit hesitant to put this information on MaryRefugeOfHolyLove, as I am not trying to “politicize” the blog in anyway, but I want my fellow Catholic Americans to be informed, as Heaven calls us to be when we vote in November for a U.S. President. STATEMENT: “Issues of Importance to Catholics” – September 22, 2016 –
Religious liberty is enshrined in the First Amendment to the Constitution. It is our first liberty and provides the most important protection in that it protects our right of conscience. Activist judges and executive orders issued by Presidents who have no regard for the Constitution have put these protections in jeopardy. If I am elected president and Congress passes the First Amendment Defense Act, I will sign it to protect the deeply held religious beliefs of Catholics and the beliefs of Americans of all faiths. The Little Sisters of the Poor, or any religious order for that matter, will always have their religious liberty protected on my watch and will not have to face bullying from the government because of their religious beliefs.
Pro-Life
I am and will remain pro-life. Public funding of abortion providers is an insult to people of faith at the least, and is an affront to good government and governance, at best. I will work to support the dignity of human life from conception to natural, dignified death.
Judicial Nominations
Judicial nominations, particularly appointments to the United States Supreme Court, are one of the most critical issues of this election. I will appoint Justices to the Supreme Court like the late and beloved great Catholic thinker and jurist, Justice Antonin Scalia, who will strictly interpret the Constitution and not legislate from the bench.
Education
Catholic education is a shining example of how education can work very well on the local level without the meddling of Washington bureaucrats. I will defend the religious liberty of Catholic schools, private schools, charter schools, and homeschooling families. I will be the biggest cheerleader for school choice programs so we can give every child in America, particularly disadvantaged African American and Hispanic American children trapped in failing government run schools, the best possible educational opportunities. I will end Common Core and will get the federal government out of the public education business.
Healthcare
It appears Obamacare is certain to collapse of its own weight. If I am elected president, I will work with Congress to bring much-needed free market reforms to the healthcare industry. Working together to create sound public policy that will broaden healthcare access, we will make healthcare more affordable and improve the quality of the care available to all Americans.
Jobs and Taxation
When it comes to jobs and taxation, our economic policy must be geared towards making it easier to hire, invest, build, grow and produce in America – creating a level playing field for our workers and businesses in global competition. High taxes and excessive regulation push jobs overseas, reduce wages, and create a smaller economy for everyone. There is no dignity for families found in such policies. I will help Catholic families and workers, and all families and workers, by bringing jobs back to our country where they belong.
Safety and Security
The first charge in the Preamble to our Constitution is to “Provide for the common defense.” As we are living in dangerous times, it is all the more imperative to maintain law and order to protect the safety and security of our communities. We will create a safer America by securing our borders and ports and by modernizing our military. As we bring stronger security to the nation, we will remain the “shining light on the hill” for all who seek liberty, security and peace.

My Son stirs within you, revealing the mission he offers to you. You see only the beginning steps. The rest of the road is hidden, so you must trust.
Listen to your heart. Follow your inner dream. Trust what Jesus has placed within you. Do not measure the sacrifices or allow others to discourage you. All is prepared. The next time you experience the stirring, say “Yes, Lord, I will follow you”. You will see what to do.
October 15, 2016 – Thousands of Planned Rosary Rallies for the U.S. Presidential Election

I wanted to let my beloved followers know that several Public Rosary Rallies are being planned for Saturday, October 15, 2016, for the upcoming U.S. Presidential Election.
Firstly, the Catholic organization, “America Needs Fatima,” has over 15,000 groups signed up to do a Public Rosary on October 15th. On their website, they are planning to put up a searchable map, so people can find the Rosary Rally nearest to them.
The second Public Rosary Rally on October 15th is being organized by the Caritas Community (Our Lady of Medjugorje) in Philadelphia, PA. They will be praying the Patriotic Rosary.
Also, I want to remind beloved followers of the special prayer services arranged for Friday, October 7, 2016 (Feast of the Most Holy Rosary).
Firstly, on October 6-7th, there are special prayer services being planned at Holy Love Ministries (Maranatha Spring and Shrine, near Cleveland, Ohio) for a public apparition and special blessing of the Blessed Mother. If you can attend, I urge you to go, as the Blessed Mother has indicated that She needs the sacrificial Rosaries for the upcoming presidential election.
And secondly, there is the National Rosary Rally being organized by the Holy League for Friday, October 7, 2016, in Washington, D.C. This is a major event and is endorsed by Cardinal Raymond Burke, as well as many other clergy.
Finally, I want to share a link to a RadioWave broadcast that I have already listened to twice. It is a good show to listen to in order to make sense of what is going on in the world. Holy Love Ministries is an ecumenical organization not associated with any particular church denomination. They will be praying the Rosary on October 6-7th at their prayer services in Ohio and all are welcome to attend.
At the October 7th National Rosary Rally in Washington D.C., all are welcome to attend.
On October 15th, the prayer event being organized by Caritas at Philadelphia, PA, is also ecumenical. It is the Patriotic Rosary and materials will be provided for those who attend on how to pray this particular Rosary.
And on October 15th, the Rosary Rallies being planned by America Needs Fatima, will be smaller groups of people, but anyone who loves Jesus can attend and pray the Rosary.
Even if you do not know the Rosary, I have prepared a quick 2-page guide with the prayers that are said. Just print it out and attend–no experience needed. During a public rosary, you just have to recite the words that are underlined and in red. Also, you do not have to have rosary beads–I actually prefer to count with my fingers.
