Our Lady of Medjugorje appeared to visionary, Ivan, around 10:00 p.m. and the apparition lasted several minutes. The following is Ivan’s description of Our Lady’s Prayer Group Apparition on top of Apparition Hill on May 9, 2016:

As always, after the meeting together with Our Lady, I (Ivan) would like to bring closer also to you and to describe what is the most important from this meeting. Also tonight Our Lady came to us joyful and happy and She greeted all of us with Her Motherly greeting, ‘Praised be Jesus my dear children.’ Then, for a while, She prayed over all of us here, and then She prayed especially over those of you who are sick and present here. Then Our Lady said:

“Dear children, also today I am calling you anew: renew my messages and live my messages. And in a special way, I am calling you: pray for peace, pray for peace, for peace in the world. Know, dear children, that I am with you and that I am near you. Pray together with the Mother. Be persevering. Do not get tired. Thank you, dear children, for also today having responded to my call.”

Then Our Lady blessed all of us with Her Motherly blessing, and She also blessed everything you brought to be blessed. I (Ivan) recommended all of you, all of your needs, your intentions, your families. In a special way, I recommended the sick. After that Our Lady continued to pray over all of us here and She left in that prayer, in an illuminated Sign of the Cross, with a greeting, “Go in peace my dear children.”

Do not look for a different path or be concerned over dates of specific happenings. Such things are known only to the Father. Your life situation now is where God has permitted you to be. “My daughter, nothing could hold Me back today on My Feast Day. Praise be to Jesus.”

“All things have come together now as pieces in a fine garment and the Ministry* is reaching its potential. You continue to be courageous in the face of opposition and I thank you for that. Holy Love – to love God above all else and your neighbor as yourself – does not mean you allow your neighbor to travel the road to perdition because it pleases him. No. It means out of love you correct him – calling him back to the path of salvation. That is what these Messages** do over and over. Heaven does not mince words to save egos or reputations.”

“So today I tell you, there is a difference between being culturally acceptable and spiritually sound. To be culturally acceptable means you please people by your appearance, actions, beliefs and words. Your whole being and life coincides with what is most pleasing to society. To be spiritually sound means your thoughts, words and actions please God first and foremost.”

“The more spiritually sound a person is, the less he is concerned with being culturally acceptable. So many sins today are passing into the culturally acceptable realm of being. We, as warriors of Holy Love, must confront these errors, no matter how unpopular our spiritually sound opinions may be.”

“I will always give you, My daughter, and all those who cling to Holy Love, the grace to be spiritually-sound and to abide in the Truth. I will not deny anyone the Refuge of My Heart which is Holy Love.”

“My children, please understand that the person who tries to be culturally acceptable seeks to please people ahead of pleasing God. What is most important to such a one is that he fits in with society. Therefore, it is his goal to offend no one but to be esteemed by all. Children of the Light cannot live in such a superficial way.”

“You must, as Children of the Light, reflect the Light of Truth as given through the Commandments of Love, which is Holy Love. There is not time to safeguard feelings or to tiptoe around egos or to protect one’s reputation.”

“Do not fear loss of any of these for souls are at stake. Fear only the loss of souls.”

MOTHER ANGELICA ON MODERNISM

“They have changed our churches. They have closed them. And now we’re not even allowed to kneel when that awesome Presence comes down into that one Host. I’m tired of your witchcraft. I’m tired. I’m tired. I’m tired of being pushed in corners. I’m tired of your inclusive language that refused to admit the Son of God is a man. I’m tired of your tricks. I’m tired of your deceits…I’m so tired of your liberal Church….This is not an accident. We’ve swallowed this for thirty years. And I’m tired of it…I’m a Roman Catholic… I believe in God the Father, Creator of Heaven and Earth. I believe there is a Trinity. I believe that He died and He suffered and He rose. I believe in that. But you don’t. You spread your errors to children, and our children don’t even know the Eucharist anymore, they don’t understand that it is the Blessed Sacrament, that it’s the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Your catechisms are so watered down. I don’t like your Church. You have nothing to offer. You do nothing but destroy.”

AMORIS LAETITIA

Now, in Pope Francis’ Exhortation, we can see a grave discrepancy with all past Church teaching. Amoris Laetitia opens the door for a change in the practice of the Church whereby Holy Communion has not been allowed to “divorced and remarried” Catholics, and others in “irregular” situations. This document follows the trend in the Church since the 1960s, that is itself following the secular world into the chaos and soul destroying insanity of the Sexual Revolution. The end result of this document is to downgrade the gravity of sexual sin, reduce the concept of mortal sin to a mere “irregularity” and open the door to the widespread profanation of the Blessed Sacrament.

This concept was derived from the doctrine “situation ethics” and it was explicitly rejected by John Paul II in “Familiaris Consortio”: “…the Church reaffirms her practice, which is based upon Sacred Scripture, of not admitting to Eucharistic Communion divorced persons who have remarried. They are unable to be admitted thereto from the fact that their state and condition of life objectively contradict that union of love between Christ and the Church which is signified and effected by the Eucharist. Besides this, there is another special pastoral reason: if these people were admitted to the Eucharist, the faithful would be led into error and confusion regarding the Church’s teaching about the indissolubility of marriage. Reconciliation in the sacrament of Penance which would open the way to the Eucharist, can only be granted to those who … are sincerely ready to undertake a way of life that is no longer in contradiction to the indissolubility of marriage”.

Robert Spaemann, one of the foremost living Catholic philosophers, states Amoris Laetitia contradicts the traditional teaching of the Church – “That it is a rupture, is something that should be obvious to any person capable of thinking who reads the texts” and further: “It’s chaos made into a principle with the stroke of the pen.”

Spaemann said Amoris Laetitia was influenced by a “situation ethics” mentality condemned by Pope St John Paul II in his encyclical “Familiaris Consortio “. He predicted that there would be “uncertainty and confusion” at all levels of the Church, “from the bishops” conferences to the “little priest in the jungle”, and said it could lead to a schism “at the heart of the Church”, adding: “God forbid that.”

Situation Ethics has also been condemned in all its forms by Venerable Pope Pius XII – See: http://www.cfnews.org/page88/files/88cd932e0fb30da936d547131dbddacf-571.html – who warned that the “new morality” has “insinuated itself even among Catholics, despite the fact that it is contrary to moral doctrines as taught and applied by the Catholic Church. Situation Ethics rests not upon principles of objective ethics rooted in being itself, but rather it claims to transcend the limitation of objectivity.”

But, my children, do not forget; each of you is a unique world before the Heavenly Father. Therefore, permit the continuous working of the Holy Spirit to work on you. Be my spiritually pure children. In spirituality is beauty. Everything that is spiritual is alive and very beautiful. Do not forget that in the Eucharist, which is the heart of faith, my Son is always with you. He comes to you and breaks the bread with you; because, my children, for your sake He died, He resurrected and is coming anew. These words of mine are familiar to you because they are the truth, and the truth does not change. It is only that many of my children have forgotten it. My children, my words are neither old nor new, they are eternal. While reading the 2nd of the month message, I was reminded of this passage in the book, “The Secret of Mary,” by St. Louis de Montfort:

There is not and there will never be, either in God’s creation or in his mind, a creature in whom he is so honoured as in the most Blessed Virgin Mary, not excepting even the saints, the cherubim or the highest seraphim in heaven. Mary is God’s garden of Paradise, his own unspeakable world, into which his Son entered to do wonderful things, to tend it and to take his delight in it. He created a world for the wayfarer, that is, the one we are living in. He created a second world – Paradise – for the Blessed. He created a third for himself, which he named Mary. She is a world unknown to most mortals here on earth. Even the angels and saints in heaven find her incomprehensible, and are lost in admiration of a God who is so exalted and so far above them, so distant from them, and so enclosed in Mary, his chosen world, that they exclaim: “Holy, holy, holy” unceasingly.

“Dear children, do not permit the superficial brilliance of this world to mislead you: materialism, jealousy, arrogance. Do not permit the light of the world to mislead you. Open yourselves to the light of Divine love, to my Son. Decide for Him. He is love. He is the truth. Return prayer to your family. Pray more. I need your prayers so that, with you, I can realize my plans. Thank you, dear children, also today for having decided for Jesus.”

Dear apostles, My heart is bursting with love for each one of you. Indeed, I cannot contain the love that I possess for all of mankind. Many reject My love. They are not open to accepting love directly from My heart. You, My beloved apostles serving in this time, do accept the love of the Savior. You rejoice in My love. You allow My love to transform you into carriers of heaven’s healing plan for humanity. Because so many reject Me, I give in a ridiculously lavish way to those willing to accept Me. Many of God’s children, living in the sadness of sin, will not admit that God could offer them anything of value. They are closed to My love for them and they are closed to My plan for them. But these people will, nevertheless, accept kindness from you, God’s apostles. They will accept good example from you, God’s apostles. Ultimately, if My plan is successful, they will accept love from you. The love they find in your heart will belong to Me because I placed it there. When the people around you are loved by you, they experience Me. This works because you are connected to Me each day through your apostolic pledge and through your apostolic service. I have told you in the past that you bring light to a dark world. I want you to know, dear loyal apostles, that the light you bring is changing the world. We, those of us in heaven, see the light growing. Some of you begin unsteadily. You are not certain that you are called. My beloved one, I am speaking to you now. Listen to Me. You are called. You belong in this family. I need your help. I do not ever want to be apart from you again. It hurts Me to be apart from you and it hurts you to be apart from Me. Only I love you perfectly. If you remain close to Me, I can continue to love you in such a way that you will value yourself as heaven values you. You are not perfect. It is true. I accept this about you. If you believed you were perfect, My beloved friend, you would be no good to Me. Far better for every one of My goals that you believe you are flawed. Believe in My perfection and be willing, and together we will bring an unstoppable flow of love into the world. I rejoice in your love for Me, dear apostle. I want you to rejoice in My love for you. If you do this, you will show others an accurate example of the peace that comes from resting in the Savior. Rejoice in your heart. I am there and I love you.

Trust and faith are the vehicles which guide the prayer to Heaven just as components in the human body usher the medication through the system.”

“Too often today, prayer is offered as a last resort to human problems. That is like trying to manage a human disease or disorder without medication until it is almost too late. Jesus said: “My people, I have shown you visions of people waiting at a train station as they wait to go to their place of judgment from Me. Before souls go to heaven, hell, or purgatory after their particular judgment, they are allowed some time to adjust to their new reality of being without their body. It is during this time that some souls are allowed to interact with the living souls that still have bodies. This time of interaction can be short or long if the soul is in purgatory and is requesting prayers and Masses. Some souls from purgatory or heaven can give messages to open souls on earth to receive. After this time of adjustment, the soul gets on the train that they were waiting for, and they are then taken to their judged destination. Thirteen years ago when I returned to the Catholic faith, I read a lot of books. And many of these books were to convince me of the supernatural reality that exists all-around us.

This search for evidence of the supernatural was important to me, because I was coming from an atheistic/agnostic background. The theory of evolution really hurt me and my relationship with God when I encountered it in public schools.

And so, I want to share in a posting some of the books I read, as I think followers of the blog, MaryRefugeOfHolyLove, would enjoy reading them.

I was blessed and I want to share these blessings with others to continue the grace.

First of all, even if you are not Jewish you should still read this book. If you are doubting that G-d exists or are completely confident that G-d exists–Read This Book. It is full of great stories; stories of escaping death, of lives great coincidences and just things that one would call lucky while another would consider an obvious act of G-d.

The first story is about a matchmaker who dials the wrong number but ends up finding a man who is looking for a wife and while she is talking to him on the other line she reconnects with a woman who is also a widow and is looking for a husband. Five years later those two people were happily married.

The second story involves a Jewish family and the Holocaust. Families scraped by to buy their kids a ticket to the safe world, to the USA. This particular family scraped by and was able to buy one ticket and the oldest daughter was chosen to go first. The family planned to gradually afford to send everyone there but it was not to be. Ten years later the family was caught in the Nazi net and it was believed that every member of the family perished. The daughter that was in the USA was devastated but vowed that she would have a lot of kids and name them after the parents and siblings she lost. Unfortunately, she was not able to have biological kids and after contemplating it for a long time she asked if her husband would want to adopt. HE did and they contacted many agencies looking to adopt a baby. Most families want a baby [she wanted to be the only mother that the child would know] Babies are the fastest to be adopted so they could not find one available. The agency told them that there was an 8 year old girl that needed parents but after thinking about it the woman decided that she did not want to settle for an 8 year old. A year later they have still not found the baby and the woman started thinking about the girl. She had felt something with in her heart toward the girl but discounted it at the time. Now a year later she wondered if maybe G-d sent her a sign then and that she was supposed to adopt that child. Upon contacting the agency she found out that the girl was still available to be adopted but that they found her brother and that they promised to keep the kids together. The woman agreed. When she brought the kids home the brother was shyer while the girl walked around exploring the new home. When she got to the piano she saw a picture and asked why did the lady have her grandmother’s photo there. Of course the lady replied that it was her mother. The girl could not believe it and ran to her suitcase and brought out a picture. It showed her mother, who was also the lady’s sister. The lady dropped to her knees, realizing that she adopted her own sister’s kids. G-d’s way of reuniting the family.

There are stories about people surviving the Holocaust, about people coming out of nowhere and helping when someone is in a tight spot and disappearing into the ether. There are stories about people surviving 9/11 by sheer luck or with G-d’s help depending on how you want to look at it.

Trust me you have to read this.

“The things I am about to say should never have to be spoken. As it is, confusion has taken up its reign within the Church. The sacraments are what sets the Catholic Church apart from all the rest. Church leaders have the solemn responsibility of defining, administering and protecting the sacraments. Sacrileges and indifference towards the Holy Eucharist must be safeguarded against – never, never encouraged. The soul must be in a state of grace – that is free of mortal sin – to receive the Eucharist. Otherwise, the Eucharist is defiled. This is where the definition of mortal sin must be clearly defined and not open to debate.”

Such a one embraces the moral standards of the world, not those of God. The soul with a false conscience sees good in evil. He proclaims tolerance for many sins instead of conviction of heart and repentance. He does not have a clear sense of good over evil.”

Heavenly Mother, I invoke you — take under Your Mantle of Protection all Your priest-sons. Draw them into Your Immaculate Heart — purest vessel of Holy Love. Nurture them in the Tradition of Faith. Give them the grace to reject liberalism. Protect the Church hierarchy from the allurements of liberal theology, power and avarice. Unite them in humility and love, so that the Church will once again be made whole. Allow the Message of the United Hearts to mend all spiritual illness within the Church. Amen.

My Jesus, Divine Good, accept my heart as Your instrument in the world through Holy Love, which is the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I desire union and faithfulness to the Will of the Eternal Father through consecration to Your Eucharistic Heart. Amen.

“As there are many priests coming here, both Orthodox and Roman Rite, I desire at this time to address them.”

“My brothers, in this present moment, I desire that you rededicate your lives and your vocation. Consecrate yourselves to My Eucharistic Heart through the Immaculate Heart of My Mother.   1. “Frequent confession after much soul-searching.”
  2. “Pray for discernment. An opinion or a judgment is not discernment. Realize that today some Dioceses are compromised by error — by liberalism.”
  3. “Use your guardian angel. Develop a love for this angel God has given you.”
  4. “Love the souls in your charge, and do all in your power to bring them to salvation.”
  5. “Be humble and childlike. Avoid intellectual pride. Give all credit to God from your heart.”
  6. “Pray for the Poor Souls. They have much power. Put them to use.”

“Dear children, you are living in a time when many have become disconnected with God’s Holy and Divine Will. They do so in an attempt to please self and other people. It is then they summarily discount heavenly interventions such as the one here at Maranatha.* It is then they paint a gray line between what is good and what is evil.”

“This is why Holy Love is so important. You must place God first in your hearts – not self and not people. If you do this, you will be able to clearly define good from evil. God’s Commandments are not unrealistic ideals. They are Laws to live by. These same Commandments are the embrace of Holy Love. This is where your discernment is formed and nurtured – through the embrace of God’s Commandments which is Holy Love.”

Given by Our Lady (July 20, 1998)

  • Did I return Love for Love? (God’s love for me back to Him).
  • Did I find fault with anyone in thought or word when it was not my duty to do so?
  • Did I transgress another’s rights according to any of the commandments?
    (Please see below for Ten Commandments)
  • Have I tried to be an example of Holy Love and Holy Humility in my daily life?
  • Have I allowed Holy Love and Humility to lead me deeper into the virtues: simplicity, prudence, patience, fortitude, and perseverance?
  • Am I living the message only on my lips (for others to see – superficially); or do I have the message in my heart, thus having a private relationship with Jesus through Mary?
  • Did I use the world – people, places, and things – to promote the message of Holy Love?
  • Have I allowed the element of time to manipulate me, or do I use time wisely for the glory of God?
  • If I am Catholic, do I know the Church laws and obey them?

  • Am I faithful to my state of life?
  • If I am Catholic, did I make good use of the sacraments?
  • Did I accept and embrace the crosses in my life as part of God’s Will for me; or do I rebel against the cross, thus losing grace for souls?
  • If I receive special graces in any form, did I broadcast it to others  unnecessarily; or do I realize I am undeserving and thank God for it?

PRAYER TO THE ETERNAL FATHER FOR HARMONY WITH THE DIVINE WILL

Eternal Father, Creator of the universe, transform my heart in this present moment so that it beats in perfect harmony with Your Divine Will. Forgive me for all the present moments I have wasted and have not surrendered to Your Will. Help me always to cooperate with the grace You send me in every present moment. Amen.

TEN COMMANDMENTS

1. “I am the Lord, your God; you shall not have strange gods before Me.”
2. “You shall not take the Name of the Lord, your God, in vain.”
3. “Remember, keep holy the Lord’s day.”
4. “Honor your father and mother.”
5. “You shall not kill.”
6. “You shall not commit adultery.”
7. “You shall not steal.”
8. “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.”
9. “You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife.”
10. “You shall not covet your neighbor’s goods.”

PRECEPTS (LAWS) OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

1. Assist at Mass on all Sundays and holy days of obligation. Avoid those activities that hinder the renewal of soul and body or the growth in union with the Lord.

2. Go to confession at least once a year; and receive Holy Communion during the Easter Time. The ‘Easter Time’ during which to receive Holy Communion is traditionally between the First Day of Lent and Trinity Sunday.

3. Study the teachings of the Church in preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, and use the knowledge gained in that study to advance the Cause of Christ and the Mission of the Church in evangelizing this world and bringing it to a knowledge of Christ.

4. Observe (obey) the laws of the Church concerning marriage (including her teachings on birth control, abortion, and other marital affairs). Provide religious training and an example of sanctity to one’s children and grandchildren. Avail oneself of the facilities provided by the parish to advance their and one’s own religious education.

5. Contribute to the support of the Church. Strengthen and support the Church (one’s own parish community, one’s own pastors, bishops, and the Holy Father).

6. Fast and abstain on the days appointed; i.e., do penance, including, but not limited to, fasting from food and abstaining from the use of meat on the days appointed.

7. Join in the missionary spirit and apostolate of the Church.
